Since I was little, I have been mesmerized by the miracles of life on earth and the mysteries of the universe.  After all, I was a very curious child.   At my elementary school graduation, I declared a dream to be a musician who gives hopes all over the world.  Instead, I am making films.  However, films co-exist with music.  So, in a way,  it's not too far from it?

Now fast forward.  Why did I decide to make films about other people's life stories while I am working on making narrative films?  It was after my beloved mother was diagnosed with a rare disease that I started to be obsessed with discovering her "roots" because there were so many things I still did not know about her.   After all, I knew little about my family and ancestors.  Then, I found out I was not the only one.  Many people I have met are also interested in their own family stories to some or great extent and I have found it fascinating to listen to them.  I started to film them and the whole experience enriches not only their life but also mine.  So, here I am, with very talented and caring filmmakers with the same mind-set, to make a unique film about you or people you care about.  

 

I hope it will be cherished for many, many years so that your future family members can appreciate where they came from.
